About Bexleyheath School

Bexleyheath School is a co-educational comprehensive school open to students of all abilities between 11-19 years of age.

The school became a Foundation School in September 2009 in partnership with Academies Enterprise Trust and Beths Grammar School.

The New Bexleyheath School opened to pupils in September 2005. Set in over 40 acres of grounds, the school boasts a range of the most up to date teaching facilities. Each of the new classrooms has an interactive whiteboard with 600+ computers in use throughout the school.

There are two cafeterias, two libraries, two halls and two gymnasia. The sporting facilities also include a Sports Hall, multi-gym, rugby and football pitches and eleven all-weather pitches. There are specialist Performing Arts areas including a dance studio.

The school takes pupils from across the Borough of Bexley who frequently use the excellent public transport services which terminate outside the school gates.

The school was officially opened by the Right Honourable Richard Caborn M.P., Minister for Sport, on 5 October 2006.

Approximately 2150 students attend the school with over 200 teaching, support and administrative staff. It is organised as follows:
