Learning at Bexleyheath is student centred. We strive to create an exciting and productive learning environment using the latest technology, and providing high quality resources for staff and students.

We believe that the key partnership is between home and school, and that the support of parents and carers ensures students are well motivated. There are good relationships between staff and students and between the students themselves. We place a great emphasis on self respect and respect for others.

We pride ourselves on the day to day care of our students. At Bexleyheath School we believe that each individual is important.

Whilst students are in our care we seek to develop them academically, socially, morally and spiritually. We also take seriously their physical health and well being. The Every Child Matters agenda gives us a structure to do this. It identifies five key areas of development. We set up our Guidance, Welfare and Support systems so that all the students can succeed, whatever their background or circumstances.

Our core aim is ‘Pride Through Achievement’. We actively promote high levels of achievement. Our job is to prepare young people for a productive life in the community. We want them to have the best experience possible and to gain the qualifications they need for successful careers, further education and university.
